Class 1 is  a hub of learning.

We now include Lerryn Nursery, Lerryn Early Years Foundation Stage , Year 1 and Year 2.

We have high expectations and huge dreams.

We enjoy fantastic  outdoor adventures in the woods and playground, cooking and laughter.

We will encourage use of Sum Dog Maths Programme, Power Maths, Active Learn reading and other ICT programs to help develop coding.

We  dance, sing, laugh and will become lifelong friends.

Today we remember.

Welcome back and Spring term begins.

we will be using dragons as our main literacy inspiration. Using multiplication and division as well as measure in Maths. In Science observing lifecycles and in R.E looking at the Chrisitan year. In art we will be making dragons and in Geography hunting around the woods using maps.

Autumn 2.

Swimming starts again, we work towards our visit from the mousehole cat. In literacy we will look at Julia Donaldson and the Stick man.

Math’s  tests and practice for S.A.T’s begins.

We will go outdoors and explore the Autumn changes.
